InOrder is anti-money-laundering software for estate agents and other small regulated firms. It checks who your customers are, screens them against sanctions and PEP lists, keeps watching them after onboarding, and produces the evidence file when your bank or HMRC asks for it.
What it does
Confirm a customer is who they say they are, from the details they have already given you. Nothing for them to download.
Run them against UK and international sanctions lists and politically exposed person records, with the source and date of every list recorded.
Keep checking after onboarding. Lists change. A customer who was clear in March may not be clear in August.
Pull the whole record on demand: who was checked, against what, what came back, and when.
Built differently
Most systems send your customer to an app or a link, which makes your compliance their problem and your onboarding slower. InOrder is run by your team, in a couple of minutes, while the customer is in front of you or on the phone.
A system that flags everyone trains you to click through its warnings. InOrder is built to tell a real match apart from a thin credit file, a missing middle name, or the same person checked twice.
Where this is up to
InOrder is being built. The checking works and has been tested. The interface is not finished, and there is no sign-up yet.
Right now I am speaking to estate agents about one question: what your bank, or HMRC, has actually asked you to produce about your AML checks. Not the forms from when you opened the account — anything they have asked for since.
If you have had a request like that, I would like to hear about it. Send it over with the personal details removed and I will assemble the evidence pack for you, at no cost. I want to see what they ask for.
Not had a request like that? I would still like to know how you handle your checks at the moment, and what about it wastes your time. Two lines by email is plenty.
